This article provides detailed information on the range of available jamb depths with appropriate sill depths. It helps you find the right combination of jamb and sill depths to fit your door opening.

## Available Jamb Depths

* **4 5/8"**: Ideal for standard 2x4 wall construction.
* **5 5/8"**: Ideal for standard 2x4 wall construction with an extension to hide existing caulking lines.
* **6 5/8"**: Commonly used for 2x6 wall construction.
* **7 1/4"**: Suitable for thicker wall constructions but reserved for use with retractable screens and Out-Swing Sills.
* **7 5/8"**: Suitable for thicker wall constructions and ideal for standard 2x6 wall construction with an extension to hide existing caulking lines.
* **Standard 1 1/2" jamb extension**: Suitable for even thicker walls.
* **Custom up to 5" jamb extension**: Suitable for those very thick walls.
